1. As a class, brainstorm issues you care about. For example: climate change, youth wages, cost of resources, terrorism, agriculture, childcare, poverty, health care, education, sport, animals, environment, the cost of food at the canteen, the cost of tickets to the movies, IT CAN BE ANYTHING!
2. Group similar issues together. Each group will create a Party listing their values. 3. Rank which Party you would like to represent from 1-3 on your scrap paper with your name at the top (1 being your first preference). 4. Form Parties based on preferences. |

As a Party you must:
*Come up with a name for your Party. *Discuss what your Party's 3 core values are and why they are important. *Create a logo for your party. *Create a slogan/catch phrase to help promote your Party and their values. *Create a Campaign Poster that includes: Party name, Party slogan, Party logo, Summary of values *Write a 2 minute speech the Party Leader will deliver to convince voters to vote for you. Your speech should include: Party name and leader's name, Who your party might appeal to, Key values of your party, Why people should vote for your party |

*Your group will receive a mark out of 18 judging collaboration, problem solving, and time management.
*You will evaluate each of your team members based on collaboration, problem solving and time management.
*You will evaluate your own performance based on collaboration, problem solving and time management, as well as highlighting your strengths in group work and areas of improvement.
*You will receive an individual teacher evaluation based on how you followed your role requirements, your organisation, communication and your self-reflection ability.
*You will then be given an individual mark out of 70.
*Your group will receive a mark out of 12 for completing the tasks.
*Your group will receive a mark out of 18 judging collaboration, problem solving, and time management.
